On May 8, 2009 the Chestertown Fire Department in conjunction with the North Warren SADD chapter, the Horicon Fire Department, and the North Warren Emergency Squad did a demonstration to coincide with the North Warren Prom.  The mock crash of two car loads of young adults culminated a day in the North Warren Central School which showed the students the results of destructive decisions.

One person was “arrested” by members of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office for Driving While Intoxicate while one person in his vehicle was killed and one was seriously injured.  The persons in the second vehicle were seriously injured as a result of the crash.
