New Fire Truck for Chestertown!

In August of 2008 the Chestertown Fire Department placed in service a 2008 CET brush truck built on a 2008 Ford F-550. The new brush truck has a Warn Winch that can be used off both the front and the rear of the vehicle. It has a 5 man crew cab, a CET 240gallon per minute pump mounted to the chassis with pre-connected forestry lines, two 1 ¾” pre-connected hand lines and one booster reel. The truck also contains numerous hand tools a Scotty foam unit allow foam discharge on all lines and a 300 gallon poly tank. The truck also contains a portable 3800 watt Generator and Havis-Shields lights.

This truck replaces a 1984 GMC four wheel drive unit that was donated to Town of Chester for use with the Highway Department and the Parks and Recreation Department.
